The Monteverde Axis is available in six matte anodized aluminum finishes: Black, Blue, Champagne, Olive, Orange and Purple. Each color has the same compact construction, magnetic cap, magnetic posting system and gear-inspired midsection. The main decisions are the color and nib size that best fit the writer.

Every Axis fountain pen uses a German made JoWo #5 stainless steel nib.

Cartridge or Bottled Ink
Axis accepts standard international fountain pen ink cartridges, making it easy to refill at work, school or while traveling. Writers who prefer bottled fountain pen ink can use a compatible mini push-in converter. Do not state that the converter is included unless the current retail packaging confirms it.

Compact When Capped, Full Length When Posted
The Axis measures 121 mm when capped for convenient carrying. The magnetic cap posts onto the back of the barrel, extending the pen to 156 mm for a comfortable full-length writing experience. This makes Axis a practical option for writers who want a portable fountain pen for journaling, work, school, planning, letters and everyday notes.
